Performance, aftermarket air filter. If I remember correctly, DC Sports reviewed and dynoed different air filters and air intake systems. Look them up on youtube.

Sound upgrade, the twins have sound generators connected to the firewall on the passenger's side (right foot well). You can either spend money on a TuRD sound changer, or you can locate the stock part and remove the filtering material from the inside. I believe theres a DIY thread on here.

Read up old DIY and discussion threads. Whatever decisions you make, I hope theyre well-informed. Good luck and have fun with your future mods.

Dramatic exit:

If sound is what you're after then a track pipe is the way to go, you should pick up a single exit for that price, don't expect the boxer growl but they do sound surprisingly good. I put a Berk dual on my car as a cheap fix until I got something more expensive but after hearing it I haven't even bothered...still on there lol...

Sounds like he's not looking to go faster: Dynamat, specifically the doors and floors to help funnel the sound from the speakers into the cabin and reduce road noise for a more pleasurable driving experience.

It's surprising how much sound 'leaks' out of the car.

Yes there is, but there is a huge difference between having a plan and waiting to have the cash to follow it and slapping on stuff cuz, you had just enough cash at that time.

I guess I could wait until next month to get more parts, but there are sales going on that make me think otherwise...

I do look like that when I have a skunk on my head!
Pretty sure I have that suit in blue stored away in the closet someplace as well.
