What can I do about poke? Don't know what I'm doing

Hello. I got some summer wheels and tires for my FR-S. I bought them and had them installed at TireRack. I got 18x8.5s with 235/40 tires.

They seem to look pretty nice but I got a problem. Rocks are getting flung up onto the door. The tires are poking out of the wheel wells a little. What can I do? I can't tell if there is a spacer or not. There is no wheel rub in front. Even if a spacer is used then if I move it in I might create rub.

Any suggestions? Anything from fenders to rock guards to fitment is welcome. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1428013599.765710.jpg

RallyArmor mud flaps should help to catch a lot of the stuff flying up off of your tires; they can be adjusted outward over an inch from the sides of the fender.

Troll? Your wheels look perfectly flush front and back?

Mud flaps would help, but that's a pretty distinct look so be sure you want to go that route.

They definitely don't sound like it. I went from some muffled road noise on the way to get them installed to sounding like hail hitting my car (rocks and stuff getting kicked up from the street).

Edit: no trolloling here. Just live in a place with terrible streets. Really bad man. Never seen streets so bad before.

doesnt look like you have spacers installed... it just looks like wheels with a slightly lower offset. with 8.5" width wheels, im guessing your offset is around the low 30s for it to look like that. if you're concerned with that amount of tire going past the bottom half of the fender (which honestly is not that much), then your only other option is to switch to wheels with a higher offset to tuck those back inside more... or just drive on roads that arent as gravel-y

Even the OEM mudguards would help a bit and is more subtle than the rallyarmor.

Perfect. Just found some on eBay. Those should help a lot and not look huge lol

Yah. It looks like I used the wrong word. It isn't poking out of the top just sticking out farther than I thought it should (not enough offset for my liking).

Honestly, I got them because they were dirt cheap wheels $90 a piece.

Edit: I don't think I'll swap the wheels unless I just can't handle it. I like the oem style guards idea.

Keep in mind a stickier tire will also throw rocks up into the wheel wells more than the stockers.
