There's a room where you drop down, so you can't go back, it has 2 buttons that need to be pressed, one to get out of the current room, and one to proceed through the next room. But no objects to place on the buttons.

I restarted, which I thought would kick me back only 1-2 rooms, but sent me entirely back to the beginning. So just gave up at that point, as farcry had finished downloading. Maybe I'll retry once the newness of farcry had worn off

Ahhhh, the exit sign room, I'm guessing. You can grab the sign right off the wall.

Alright, so while Horizon Zero Dawn is fun, there are frequent crashes. While I was initially attributing to this to my computer, it seems it's a common issue with others. This sucks cuz it seems to happen at the least expected times. It's also inconsistent when it crashes. Sometimes it's 15min in, other times I can go an hour!

I ordered a new 27" 4k 144hz monitor to upgrade from my 24" 1080p 144hz Asus VG248QE monitor I've been using for the past 8 years: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/om...gaming-monitor

Edit: I ended up returning this monitor. I liked the 4k resolution and the colors, didn't like the look of an IPS panel or the slow (IMO) pixel response.

Interesting. I played through all of HZD GOTY and didn't have a single crash that I recall. I had heard others had issues though.

That's why I'm confused. If it crashed immediately, that would make sense, but mine undulates.

It was real crashy on release, but it’s been solid for a while now. What version of windows are you running?

Have you tried using the “Repair” option. Sometimes what can affect is which drive you have it on.

I have not tried that and could give it a shot!

Edit: there is a new driver update that released today from AMD. Gonna give that a try.

This seems like an insanely awesome idea and seems to perform very well and GN doesn't have too many negatives. I can only hope they do this for the AM5 platform and not make it a microcenter exclusive.

They did. I think is the 7800X3D. $450 or so.

Edit; wait, they made the 5 series 3XD a microcenter exclusive?

Yeah! The 7800X3D is cool and all, but being SFF, the 5600X3D (or a 7600X3D) is highly appealing. I really wanted it but the nearest Microcenter is like a 10.5hr drive across Texas
