Restarted multiple times with varying degrees of success. Most of the times I was able to jump to a location but it would d/c right after that. I was able to finish off one mission but the rest went kaput.

Strange. I haven't had any issues. I'd say check your network settings and even reset your modem/router just to be safe.

Tried again last night and everything worked flawlessly so I'm not really sure what the root cause for those issues was.

Its possibly your install might have been corrupted somehow, do other network heavy games work fine?

If they do, you could delete everything Destiny related and reinstall it all. This won't affect anything with the game since Bungie stores all account details etc on their servers, so you don't have to back up anything.

Destiny is the only game I own right now so no way to test other games. Looks like it's working today as well. Can probably chalk it up to TTK release day issues.

I think I hit the point where I need to raid to get any higher. Been stuck at 296.

same, tried for my exotic sword, but I dont have enough friends high enough to get together one fire team for a coordinated 300 strike.
