I was going to try the 100.io but my play times are never really consistent and hard to plan out a time.

I really just need a group of people that are always on. So when I get on and they need/want another I'm there.

Godzillas BJob is me. Bungie forums goes off of the original Xbox Gamertag you had when you registered for it. I'll approve your request tonight @Ramster.

What do you guys use against Thorn in PvP? I've found Red Death (fully upgraded) works really well, but just seeing if you guys have any other suggestions. Red Death I can usually win 1 on 1 encounters and I regen my health after I kill the guy to help with the stupid burn damage.

I use a Red Death on my Warlock, seems about 50-50 with Thorn encounters unless he lands head shots.

The most annoying part is the Thorn DOT cancels the Red Death health regen.

Mokspeed has been trying to get us to all use Thorn when we play in a group, that worked well for 3 of our clanmates who went 9-0 last week in Trials. Imagine playing against a full team of 6 using Thorns?

A lot of our sessions are planned in advance, I mean that's what the100 is really for, but we also have a bunch of people on all the time and we use the chat as an in-group LFG. You can also join up to three groups at a time.

Yeah I really want to try for that 9-0 on Trials. I have 2 friends and I who went 8-0 and then lost the 9th a couple of weeks ago. I've been considering leveling up my Thorn to try it out online. Can't bring myself to use it though. I don't really like hand cannons much.

The Taken King will be revolved around Oryx who is Crota's father. Eres and Rahool have already mentioned the name so it seems that there are already elements in the game setting up for this. Most is mere speculation at this point, but it's apparent that the next raid will in fact be a part of new DLC that will cost extra money. Note that the raid will not be the ONLY content included in the new DLC.

More to be revealed next week at E3 according to Kotaku reports on Bungie.

Thoughts and opinions?

No but I was getting worked with it all week in Iron Banner. It seems to have a faster TTK than my Red Death, but that could just be me sucking.

New classes seems cool.

Can't say i'm looking forward to another Hive raid, although there's speculation the "Taken" will be a new faction consisting of "brainwashed" members of all the existing races (maybe not Vex?) who fight for Oryx.

There's lot's about Oryx in the grimoire.
