brz and fr-s sway bars different?

Does anybody know if the sway bars are the same or different between the fr-s and brz?

I have an fr-s and I would like to upgrade the suspension, but retain the balance of the fr-s. I already installed swift fr-s springs and would like to upgrade sway bars as well, but would like to maintain the balance of the fr-s and not turn my car into a brz.

The RCE sway bars look nice, but I'm not sure if they are designed to maintain the balance of the fr-s or brz.

Thoughts?

The RCE Hollow Sways do a great job of maintaining the oversteeryness of the car after installing lower/stiffer springs. I have the front set to the softer setting and the rear at the stiffer setting and they suit my needs perfectly. The key is that the RCE sways are adjustable so you can play around with different settings to dial in the handling you prefer.

Check out some of my track footage to get a better idea of how the car behaves at the limit. It will still rotate and oversteer but it does so much less often when running sticky tires. The grip and turn-in responsiveness is dramatically increased from just the RCE sways and some negative camber all around. It's still very tail happy on the stock wheels and tires if you purposefully toss the car around.

Funny, I bought a BRZ because it was more balanced than a FRS (to me).

By modifying the suspension with aftermarket components, you're making the FRS more like a BRZ (and vice versa).

I was not commenting on the balance of the fr-s compared to the brz. What I was trying to say is that I would like to maintain the handling characteristics of the fr-s, specifically the tendency to oversteer, while upgrading the suspension.

Do you have any clunking noises from the sway bars?

No they are completely silent. Using the stock end links as well.

Installed the RCE sway bars and they are great. Most notably, the tail of the car seems more controlled. Originally I wanted to preserve the oversteeryness of the stock FR-S, but after driving the car with a more planted back end, I'm super happy. These sway bars compliment the Swift FR-S springs nicely.
