This morning I'm walking around my backyard under the pine trees, looking for owl pellets, and suddenly I almost get hit by a falling pear. Ever have fruit fall from a pine tree?

Lol, squirrel must have lost his grip.

No kidding! Seems like they were reasonably priced years ago, then suddenly they are just crazy expensive. I now use sunflower seeds instead in salads and stuff.

Any of you ever dissect an owl pellet? I get lots of them in my backyard. Cool seeing all the bones, feathers, and occasional tootsie pop.

Yes! Wet them to keep from inhaling dust. The tootsie pops aren't any good because they're always chewed up.

Depends on how many licks it took to get to the centre.

I believe the answer is three.

Pears fall out of a tree in my backyard all the time. It's not surprising, since it's a pear tree.
