It's more the tooling costs. This isn't even hard injection mold tooling, it's soft tooling (urethane casting/RTV).


I can write off the SLS Nylon prototype part because I work here, but the cost to a customer after finishing and paint for another one off would be close to $250.

Any chance of sharing the file so people could print their own?

I can't see there being enough people to do a full run.
