Places to buy vintage automotive racing prints? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

My man cave is coming together nicely and this weekend the wife hung a bunch of empty picture frames and told me to find some art to fill them with.

I'm thinking vintage automotive prints, specifically racing, like LeMans and that sort of thing, in black and white.

Stuff like this:

Struggling to find online stores that have what i'm looking for. Does anyone know any good sites?

I'd prefer not to steal pics from the internet and have Black's or whoever blow them up, image quality can be a concern and I don't want this to look half-assed.

BTW, I think the Ford GT40 picture you posted would be a great one. Might want to try the National Archives (US), you can find a lot of cool photos and I believe you can puchase (order) them.

I've been down that path.

See that picture? I went hunting for a full year looking for it.
One day i came apart a NYC art gallery that might be able to get a good size print for me.
Months went on...

They email me one day "We found it!".
Alright, how much?

Hi,

I found the recomendation of www.grandprixposters.com here and bought a poster. I already hade a poster from allposters and needed a matching. The support said that the qulity would be equal or better but its not. There is a big diffrence in qulity, grandprixposters.com are missing colors and feels washed out. This is clearly noticable even when not comparing side by side. Its like I could have printed this from a regular ink-printer. The support from the website was great untill I sent a complain, after this the communication was dead. Okay, they did answer with "we thougth we already have replyed, we will check in to this" and then nothing more. I sent 3-4 mails to "remind" them under a couple of weeks. So I cant recommend www.grandprixposters.com but hopes that Im alone in having a bad experience with them.
