Ha, oh, no way buddy...I'm keeping the A/C and heater in.

Las Vegas weather sucks and the last thing I need is no A/C in the summer or heat in the winter lmao.

I will make custom A/C lines at a later date though, probably see if I can make those lines match my engine bay color theme, which is still under consideration...the color scheme that is.

I hear you with the A/C. We get pretty warm and cool here but nothing like I remember Las Vegas heat.

Installed my DSS LV4 800HP axles today

LoL, I saw some other people install axles and I'm gonna be honest, these bitches were not that easy to come out

The second pic is a side-by-side OEM axle vs DSS LV4 axle...OEM looks like a twig LoL.

I got them installed but ended up with 2 casualties in the process.

First, you brought a claw hammer to a car fight. Second, those prybars are ok for pulling nails but not rigid enough to get axles to pop out. I used a pickle fork and mine popped right out.

The passenger axle was not that difficult to remove...much more room on that side to bang around.

Ha, but one way or the other, them twig axles were coming out

LOL!

Now I can get back to my harness nest

Went to pick up my car that’s been in the shop after a student did a hit and run on it. Went something like this this rainy morning:
“Hello, unfortunately we left the windows down in your car and it’s filled with water. We sent it out to be detailed. Very sorry.”

That's going to take more than a detail...

Filled with water is a hyperbole but fuckin shit! The alcantara doesn’t appreciate being exposed to a downpour. My window switches and electrical harnesses certainly don’t. What sort of stuff should I be thinking about?

if you're there via an insurance claim, make the insurance aware of it. it's related to the repair.

First, what @soundman98 said. This is part of the insurance claim. I guess it would depend on how much water there really was, but my biggest concern is they dried out everything well including seats and carpet. Probably should be done by removing the interior.

Make sure the insurance company knows if they don't already.

I personally wouldn't think about anything. Some nice clean rain water is going to be a pain to get out but isn't going to cause you much issue. Sure stuff will be wet but that can be sucked out and dried up with no real lasting effects.
Now if it was dirty flood waters that got into all you connectors then that would be a different matter.
