Move USB to armrest area
Hey all. Any easy way to move the factory USB to the armrest area and keep it clean looking. 2019 model.
Thanks |

I'm using a device very similar to what @LimitedSlip suggested. I created a second hole in the center console just above the cigarette lighter socket, and mounted mine there.

I used one of these (one with the audio Jack) and it fit in the 12V socket hole perfectly. |

I installed this one in the lighter location in the front of the console.

I've used this same one in a couple of cars. Works great as long as the HU supports it.

I fitted this over the weekend, took about 15 minutes to do. Nice easy job, radio out, unclip the handbrake and the gear shift gaitor, that was enough for me to route the cable.

Sweet.
Ordered the USB kit and it either wasn’t delivered by Amazon or some twat stole it from the steps. When did it become acceptable to just throw packages on your doorstep and walk away |
