Thanks Hachi! Just what I was waiting for!
Gauge numbers definitely are white in these video clips. Must be the premium vs and red for the limited version? Or do they change to red at night? |

Couldn't tell if there is a digital gauge cluster option with the NAV.

Red backlighting at night, most likely.
I like all of this, but my fear is that it'll be decontented before it arrives on this side of the ocean. |

This might be a dumb question, but with modern day touchscreens like this unit, any chance to get car info displayed there ala GTR style (with a hack of some sorts)?

I will say I would have no use for a navi touch screen but that is pretty cool.

Im sure we can hack into the pioneer unit and fiddle around with the interface probably turn it into a carputer..but getting it to run the GTR OS might be tricky next to impossible. Especially when the car doesn't have a fraction of the sensors used in a GTR.

That is what I assumed. But since the car will have traction control/stability control..etc. it has to have some input going into the CPU along with throttle and brake input? I realize this car isn't on the same level as a GTR, but it would be nice to get some info on the screen if it wasn't too complicated. But maybe it is.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. If I can get oil temp and AF ratio/boost (if I had a turbo/supercharger) that would make me happy. Just don't need the speed/tach info as that is already infront of me.
