Will you actually get this car sideways?

I'm curious to hear whether or not people here actually plan to get this car into a drift. I figure I might eventually take this car to a track a couple times and try it, but I don't think I'd ever risk it on a public road. It seems to be one of the big selling points but how many of you are really going to take advantage of the drift ability?

I am for sure. I fully plan on doing track days to practice drifting. Drifting on public roads/parking lots is sketchy. I mean, probably won't deter me from doing it, but I'll be much more cautious and less apt to do it. But all in all, I will be drifting the vehicle. It's what you do with a MT Hachiroku

No, I will follow the rules and regulations of the road aka the law and the confines of society and drive this car in nothing but a straight line, except of course when I am making a 90 degree turn at 3 am and there's no one else on the road to danger and no red light camera in which case I WILL MAKE TIRES SCREECH!!!! Just kidding...kinda..

The first set of Primacy will burn out at the 1st trackday...
I think I'll have a cheap set of rear wheels with chinese tyres for this specific purpose.

Neova Ad07 in front, chinese s*it at the rear, it will do magic for the low torque...

Does accidentally count?

I did this twice the first day I had mine. I chalked it up to two factors, rain and the detailer at the dealer getting faux-armorall on the tread portion of the tires.

It was only minor and very controllable, but I thought I would have to clean my shorts the first time. I had barely had the car an hour.

It happened from a dead stop turning and accelerating into a left or right turn. Hasn't happened since and traction control reeled it in for me.

Deepmist you live in CA .. if anyone lives in other locations where you can commonly encounter slippery conditions due to weather then perhaps the car will best travel sideways at time

I think its more of a question of how long will it take you to get this car sideways.

For me? 2 days or so. The parking garage at work is so smooth, itd be a crime not to turn off trac/stm and give it a bit of a flick. :3
