Adjusted mine today to just below the brake pedal. I absolutely love the quick engagement. I have yet again fallen in love with this car! One thing I did notice was what looks like a rubber washer coming loose. Should I be concerned?

I could be wrong, but that looks like some kind of a retaining spring, and is supposed to look like that to keep the plunger shaft from coming out of the master cylinder body.

If you get down in there and watch while just a little by hand you push-release the pedal, you will notice the little spherical part of the plunger bottom into the washer which is held in place with the circlip.

There's no substitute for just observing it first hand.

so as long as the spherical part is pressed up against the washer then it is fully retracted correct?

The DIY was super helpful and this part about the clutch height compared to the brake pedal was just what I needed. Also did the clutch spring removal while I was down there and there's a big improvement in the feel of the clutch.

Viewpoint of the driver meaning if I could see the rod looking down at it sitting on the seats?
