They're OEM brake calipers on many Subarus. they're made by Sumitomo. In the US they came on the 06-07 WRX.

They use the OEM BRZ rotors, so braking capabilities aren't really any better, but pad selection is awesome, and pads are cheaper. Also, pedal feel is AWESOME.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Wasn't today but I did the Perrrin license kit thing. not much to say improved the look in my opinion. Perrin rear shifter bushing. made a good difference in the shifter play. Perrin steering rack lockdown. awesome and improved the already amazing steering feel. white line transmission insert. took out the movement in the transmission. In my opinion made the car easier to shift and drive. Grimmspeed master cylinder brace. Never would've thought this would help! Firewall moves a lot more than I would've imagined. grimmspeed hood struts. Hood opens wide now. I love these. k&n drop in. A little more induction noise now. my mammoth shifter knob was the last thing. I gotta say it looks awesome and it gives me joy to shift now. It's cool to be able to tap the knob with 2 fingers and watch it drop from 3rd to 4th. Only thing I have to say is if after installing the steering lock down and transmission insert I had a lot of extra noise(didn't use a torque wrench) so I got back under and borrowed a torque wrench. Put them to spec, instant difference. Little to no noise when compared to stock but the steering is awesome! nothing but good things to say about the rest of the mods. Very happy with my purchases! Great improvement for my daily drive as well as raising hell on the back roads.

I thought they were but wasn't sure. Even using oem size rotors they look great. I've read something about having to swap the bleeders, do these fall in that category?

Garage
[last weekend] installed:

Perrin 2.5" cat back resonated exhaust (still have to adjust to get the tips to line up)

blue wide-angle "blind spot killer" side mirror inserts (takes some getting used to but really help)

center console armrest (great look and worth the $)

TRD intake (one of the few legal intakes in CA)

Next week: shark antenna, tranny & diff fluid change, shifter springs, various bushings. Fun stuff!

Thanks! Fitment is good and everything pretty much lines up. The actual trunk install is less than 30min. Make sure you have another person to help you. My only issue was the license plate lights wouldn't fit in the predrilled holes of CF trunk (license plate light housing is slightly bigger). Either you need to dremel the holes of the trunk and make them bigger or dremel the license plate lights and secure with double sided tape. I ended up buying some LED license plate lights with the complete housing from ijdmtoy.com and dremeled them so they could fit. Definitely wasn't going to cut up my new trunk.

No. The Brembos require the bleeder to be swapped. These have the same sized pistons all the way around, so you can swap them left to right.

You can pick the calipers up from your local Subie dealer, or used on EBay. I went with DBA rotors and Goodridge lines, as I have wholesale for them.
I'm looking forward to being able to switch out to Porterfield R4 pads for autocross.
I don't know what I'll run on the track.
