Cold sucks for car work. I want to start on mine, but not in this weather! Need to at least swap front studs so I can put winter tires on though... Its warm today, getting up to 16 (-9C) so maybe it's time...

Edit: although before I resort to replacing it, I'll just check the fuses first. |

The trick is the wires on the sensor... sockets typically don't work so well. If you can get in from the side you'll be fine with a standard wrench, but a socket may be tough no matter how you work it. 7/8" or 22mm it is, though.

Well, this is the last time I come to this dealership for anything. Service advisor, techs, really anyone who has hopped in my car has revved the piss out of it.

Oh, so I've found out that I should always buy my parts from a Subaru dealer.
Got a quote for the rear o2 sensor from the Toyota dealer since I was there anyways, and they wanted nearly $490 for it. Ended up going to the Subi dealer across the road from my apartment, and they wanted $266. Absolute insanity. |

Good to know. That is a crazy difference! I think I'll check with both when I need something to see who is cheaper. |
