Would ABS and traction control have anything to do with this as well? ie: wet surface, rear losing traction and traction control kicks in. Thank you

Okay, would traction control be included as well? Ie: traction control kicking in when accelerating in wet weather.
I'm guessing it shouldn't affect safety, reliability, or performance. Judging by you still using yours. Cheers, thanks for the help *Edit sorry I didn't see your previous response. But still would like to know the effects on safety, reliability, and lastly performance. Last edited by 1234eher; 05-30-2020 at 04:15 PM. Reason: Repeat |

Everything affects safety, reliability, and performance. The question is whether or not it is statistically significant. You are actually more observing of the operation of your machine than most. That can be a blessing, or a curse. Here's how you can use it to your advantage. Right now, you say that it goes away after it warms up. I bet that if you listen carefully, you'll realize that it doesn't fully, which is fine. Listen for other stuff, like the noise it makes when you unload the drive line in first or reverse while creeping. That backlash is the chatter that I'm talking about. Multiply that by a bazillion and then we're getting into the stuff that peens bearings and deforms castings.
Manner of operation is the main thing to consider, especially because that is the thing over which you have the most control.

Well... This thread has made me realize that my throwout bearing is going too. Does anyone know if the Exedy OEM clutch kit has the new throwout bearing in it? More specifically this one :
https://www.ft86motorsports.com/driv...-fr-s-brz.html Or for the peace of mind just go to the dealer and spend the $40 for the for sure right one? Edit: added details |
