Side note...wish Jackson would reply to my previous post and comment more often now that SEMA is over...like more info.
Again, the graph is NOT for a FRS/BRZ; it's for a S2000, and I posted it only for comparison purposes, since such a graph doesn't yet exist for our platform. The actual gain on the innovate at the low end is only about 40 ft/lbs at 3000 RPM.

The innovate will provide more torque gain down low, but is not as efficient up top. The Rotrex offers more quiet operation (no whine at WOT) and denser intake charge up top. For a street driven car, it's really all about personal preference. For me personally, I don't need low end torque; low end torque is not what makes a car quick.

Last I spoke to the Jacksons, they're trying to get everything packaged for shipping; we're waiting for our kits as well.

The main reason you don't see a CAI on a high HP Supra is because there's no way to fit it (other than the guys that feed the turbo straight out of the hood or from where the front headlight would be)
Logs from our past rotrex experience indicates that even behind the radiator, IAT was rarely more than 10F over ambient. While it's not the same car or the same engine, the layout was similar, and those cars made significantly more output. You're not gonna magically get under ambient by using a CAI.

Are you still planning to install another SC kit on a car to do a comparison?

Well... for the moment we have two BRZs... but don't make any hasty conclusions

I know Stage One Tuning engineered a positive displacement kit, but I don't think it's produced anymore. Not sure if that's the one in the graph.

That's the one! Great to know we got some s2k guys here... that's a rather obscure kit.

It was a great kit, screams like a banshee. I wish someone would build a kit around an Eaton roots blower for the twins. Those TVS models are pretty nice!

I really like how, on standard ACN91 piss gas, that this kit begins making substantial HP and TQ gains starting right about 2.5k rpms and keeps making them to redline, with a really serious upper band punch. REALLY like!

I meant FI in general I'm sure a rotrex doesn't heat the air quite as much as a turbo or roots style.

While I like turbos far more (as a general rule), this kit looks more to my liking because of the torture tested tune that comes with it.
