so 245's would be good? that's what I'll probably go with. thank you!

I have 17x9 Rota Titans (+42 offset) with 245/40 Dunlop ZIIs, and with the stock springs, the inside of the front tires rubbed slightly on the spring perches. I'm using camber bolts in the front for more negative camber and that moves the top of the tire closer to the spring perch. To get around that, I installed 3mm slip-on wheel spacers up front. If you don't want extra negative camber, then you can stick with the stock bolts and you should clear without spacers. Fitment in the rear won't be an issue at all; there's plenty of room back there.

If you have coilovers, then you can easily use camber bolts without wheel spacers because you'll have a lot more inbound clearance since coilover springs are skinnier than stock springs or lowering springs.

Tires!

I need tires for my 17x9 +42 rota grids. Can someone link me a good pair on tirerack.com that would fit and have no rubbing issues (even lowered on springs in the future) looking for all season tires.

i would imagine 245/40 r17 would be good.

http://www.wheeldude.com/wordpress/w...n-17x9-grid-vs

he is running the same offset and size. but i think he is running coilovers so that can make a difference.

replying to an old thread is better than making a new thread right.. haha

These will probably be my next set of wheels.. I was wondering with a 1.5"-2" drop and -1.5 to -2 camber in the front are spacers needed? or would a different offset work just as well?

Coilovers??? or stock suspension.. No spacers are needed for these to work on stock suspended cars.. there is about 1/4in of clearance from the tire (245/40/17) to the strut. If you have coilovers.. that margin increases to about an inch...I was the original one that figured out this particular size and offset to work.

test fit 17x9 42 wheels

This is a directory that I made when I first put them on.. Seriously "perfect it" hopefully you can see the directory and the clearance of them.. if you don't let me know

Bill

Currently springs with just barely over a 1" drop but will be going to coils soon enough so I don't want to have to run into any issues I didn't foresee.

I will check it out, thanks
