Wheeeew...what a weekend.. made some changes to the car this past weekend.. and it paid in spades. Kept the whiteline front bar...but put a stock WRX 16mm on the back.. and went down on compression in the front 2 clicks.. and we put more air in the tires.. the car was turning in awesome then feel numb and the mid corner/exit push we had... is NOW GONE..

What a HUGE difference. Car is completely balanced now, so much that the rear end steps out immediately and we are able to get to the gas soooo much quicker now... and modulate the throttle to hold corner speed. I was able to flat foot alot of the course now... sweepers are awesome. I have data showing 1.2g's sustained on the Grippy Peru Concrete.

Definitely got some stuff figured out and found a bunch of time... Andy, My co-driver made the shoot-out with an awesome drive in the morning.. Besting his competition time by almost a full Second. His endeavor wasn't over as he was up against a ASP Solstice in the first round. The Solstice layed down a helluva run and Andy need to pick even more time to win. He needed a 52.8 to win... He ended up with a 53.1. Car is almost 100% there.. banged of the limiter a couple of times and could have used a hard limiter. Those couple of tenths might have put us in the next round..

Starting to get alot more comfortable with 'street' tires and their limits. Trust is an issue a bit for this long time R' Comp competitor. But we are gaining on it.. Nice to see that the car is definitely competitive at a National level. Next on the list. Going to California for a few weeks...and there I will be driving some other national level vehicles. Next up for National competition for me is the Match Tour in Milwaukee... then the Toledo Pro.. looking forward to it with my new found speed and my own Alien...

My Co-driver, Andy at full tilt On-course... For those that don't know Andy, He's the Current RTA National Champion. Currently campaigning a TTU EVO in NASA time attack, he's already gotten a couple of track records.

More Weight loss coming... First off...Stoptech Brakes are on the way... actually ordered them over a month ago.. just wasn't home to receive them...so @FT-86 SpeedFactory held onto them till I get home this week.. ...Next on the weight saving list... a new Drivers Seat... Corbeau FX1 Pro with Custom lowering Rails.. should be another 50lbs gone... I will weigh everything to be sure.. that should get the car right around 2550lbs or so for fighting weight..

FX1 Pro Info

Why did you not choose the adjustable Whiteline 16 mm rear bar? Was the stock WRX rear bar already available or does it have a technical reason?

I wonder how much cheaper your rotors will be than mine. I imagine replacement on AP Racing England rotors is a bitch...

Looks good!

Your strut bolts seem to be installed backwards. The bolt should be facing towards the front of the car. Shouldn't make a difference if they're both slotted the same size but I thought I'd mention it.

See picture below for reference.
