Traction control kicking in on front ?
Something weird is happening. This happened after installing my wheels. I'll give as much info as I can to see if anyone can help me identify the issues.
Wheels: 18x9+35 squared. Tires: 245/40/18 and 265/35/18 in the rear. The issue: At high speed turns....... example: a round-about exit off a highway or on-ramp. Let's say I am traveling about 65 or 70mph and I go turn into the turn. It's not like a crazy sharp turn where I should the trac control to go off. I am talking about a turn that makes the steering wheel barely move. the moment my steering wheel travels even just a quarter of the way all of a sudden the traction control lights up, and the car makes a really weird mechanism. Almost like the outer most front wheels' ABS kicks in.. What gives? Btw it happened on stock suspension and its happening on Coilovers. Never happened on stock wheels even at 100mph. |

Why are you running staggered tires on square wheels? Different effective tire diameter front and rear will confuse the car.

I am pretty sure as long as I stay within rolling diameter that shouldn't be the case but please do explain it a bit. I am not here to deny advice. I simply can't stand not being able to drive my car spirited through any turn.

What's the brand/model of the tires? Not every 245 or 265 tire is the same width, actual width and therefore rolling diameter will vary. Did you check for even tire pressures?
OEM rolling diameter is 24.7". Your combo would be about 25.7" F (+4%) / 25.3" (+2.5%) R. That's quite a deviation. |

Yea 35psi all around. The diameter between the two is .3 of an inch difference and revs/mile less than 15 ticks apart.
