Anyways, anyone else here going to Country Hills Toyota tomorrow?
As if yesterday all I know is that my insurance company is getting an independent assessment on it after CH Toyota has already looked at it.

Sadly, the guy cant look at it till Monday so I wont know anything until then.

The woman that hit me is 26 and huge...like really fat.

Whats happening at CH Toyota? maybe i'll come see if I can peek at my car

Does anyone know a guy that fixes hail/does PDR? I got caught in the storm when it passed through Calgary. Im thinking I might just have it done out of pocket, so the more budget friendly the better.

Thanks!

Are you sure you want to pay out of pocket? You probably have over $3000 damage on there based on what I saw, my BMW was hit a couple years ago and only had 12 dents, and PDR cost $1800...

Small Update:
They are taking their sweet time...they got the appraiser to look at the car today and now they have to remove the rear bumper and wont get looked at again until Friday.

The appraiser's estimate is 10k without seeing what is under the bumper.

Does anybody know how to milk the insurance company? Possibly get some TOM's Tails?
illegal?

If you make a claim and have them do the repair, I don't believe you can have them replace your parts with anything aftermarket. Your insurance coverage insures the repair of your vehicle to the state that it was in prior to the accident.

However, I believe you can settle for a cash settlement and have it fixed on your own. This method usually pays out an amount less than the estimate. Not really sure how it works though if you don't own the vehicle out-right.

I went and had an estimate done separately yesterday, and it totaled to around $3300 . The actual appraisal from my insurance is scheduled for later today.

@Tessball, It's been forever but I saw your car at the hospital again and I parked beside it. Too bad I got there after you and left before you so you didn't see haha. But I took a picture.

It's all depend on your commute and what tires you get
