Hi from a new member

Hi, my name is Sean. I picked up my BRZ Limited last week from Portland, Oregon and drove it back down the Pacific Coast (via 101 and 1) back to the Bay over 2 days.

The drive was about 750 miles. I really enjoy the car. I felt like I really learned the character of the car since about half of those miles were on twisties and the other half were on the freeway.

I intend to leave my car stock for now (other than camber bolts and maybe mudguards) but might consider some suspension work, wheels and tires later. I got about 26mpg for the whole trip.

Here are some pictures I took with my phone.

See you around!
Sean

Thanks. it was definitely a lot of driving to do over 2 days but the roads were beyond fun and I had no passengers complaining about my cornering speeds

Definitely need a hot tub after sitting in the car for a total of ~12 hours, lol

Was just re-admiring your pics but just realized, is that an action shot, or did you hold up traffic just to get that pic

I feel ya, the lack of lumbar support just kills my back after a couple of hours of back road driving. I can't imagine what 12 hrs. would do to you.

Don't listen to Blaine (j/k)! Hold off as long as you can and enjoy the car as it is! I tried so hard, but like everybody here, I caved.

Another new face on the next meet. its funny how the BRZ's front end reminds me of a Manta Ray...a smiling Manta Ray. some HID's and LED's wont hurt your pockets that much. Some rotas and tires, lowering springs and you are good. I wish my FR-S was white.

Haha, I wish. Road was stopped due to one-way traffic control for a mudslide near Crescent City, CA. I hopped out, snapped a couple, and ran back to my car when traffic started up again.
