I just dialed out all of the camber at every corner(cheap camber gauge and level garage floor), just have to put the car back on the ground now. I think it should gain slight negative camber with the wheels on the ground and the suspension under compression. I did not touch the toe arm.
Edit: Sitting at -2 in the rear on both sides just about and -0.5 up front. Toe looks a lot better now in the rear. Edit 2: Drives okay now, no more weird tracking in the rear. Going to drive it in for an alignment Wednesday/Thursday. Last edited by Trueweltall; 07-30-2018 at 07:06 PM. |

Try reading my new post before replying. I never drove it on a public road either but hey keep up the assumptions, you're great at it.

Not true. I have owned 30+ cars. I had a few dropped off at my shop on a flatbed. To say I did not learn anything from these un-drivable cars is false. I learned plenty. Additionally, I learn from hands-on experience. (possibly while I make a few mistakes) Shop time is $120 per hour. I save for when I HAVE to take my car to the shop. Otherwise, I try and fix my car myself. Not to mention, I would rather spend money on tools and do things myself.

Some shops will give you a 4 hour estimate for jobs that should take just 1 hour. So it can be very costly and a bad deal.

Took it to a Firestone recommended by a local 86 group, boy what a waste of my fucking time. First off their alignment machine front pumps on the rack are broken, secondly they ran my front bumper right into the curb rashing the hell out of the bottom paint.
![]() Manager told me on the phone that their tech would own up if they damaged my car, said there was no paint on any of his curbs and that I am making a production out of this. Last edited by Trueweltall; 08-01-2018 at 07:15 PM. |
