Will having my toe arm ball joint at this much of an angle cause issues?
Recently I replaced my stock toe arms with SPC arms and got an alignment done. When I got the car back I noticed that the ball joints where the arms go into the knuckles were at a bit of an angle. Is this enough of an angle to cause accelerated wear or other issues?

It's probably okay, it's just lazy work by the shop. There isn't a hex to grab on the ball joint, but it is not difficult to keep parallel to the hub while tightening.

Is this before or after you put some miles on it?
If before then go put some miles on it and check, if after I wouldn’t be happy with that work. It looks ‘fine’ but odds are the boots will wear and split prematurely shortening the life of the ball joint. And I’m guessing something like 50k miles instead of 75k miles. |

That's not an issue at all. If it bothers you, reach your hand in there, grab the ball joint, and twist it straight.

You can't do it by hand when they are tight. The locknut for the outer ball joint needs loosened first. I usually lock the through bolt side first after adjusting toe, then hold the ball joint side with locking pliers while I snug the locknut for that side. Then tighten normally. This has worked for me to keep it from twisting.

With SPC's, the only way it can be done is to undo the locknut.
