Best experience was a bunch of middle school kids in a bus, mostly young boys in the back pointing and taking pics with their cell phones. Good future interest in cars.

Stopped at a coffee shop with the fiancee, and the barista asked about my car. Didn't ask which one it was, she knew it was the Scion because of the color, which she also knew the name of, asked about mod plans... sat down and April gave me her ring back to give to the clerk

"sweet ride bro" encounters don't happen anymore as compared to 2 years ago.

Recently had a young dude at a gas station complimenting and asking a ton of questions about the car. He was driving an older Ford Escape and was looking to get into an FRS. I always make sure to let people know that the car isn't fast in a straight line and don't be surprised if you lose to a minivan at a light. It's the handling this car was built for and one of the sole reasons why I bought the car.

One of my coworkers who drives a CTS-V making ~850 hp at the crank with headers, cams, and some other goodies stopped in the parking lot this morning to compliment me on the FR-S! He's a cool guy had a 10 minute conversation about our cars and told me I should make it out to Waterford Hills Raceway next summer.

I'm married but that barista sounds sexy as fuck just based off her knowledge of the twins.

It's one of the many Caribous in town.

Also, there are some pretty interesting coffee shops in Seattle that would add to the fantasy... suffice it to say I wouldn't go to those ones with the lady.

Stopped to get groceries last night. I'm walking briskly back to my car and I notice the kart collector guy standing in the pouring rain staring at my car. I pop the trunk with my key so I can get my groceries in and the poor guy jumped out of his skin. He sees me and immediately starts gushing about how much he loves the Frs and that it's the spiritual successor to the Supra. (Not sure that I agree with him there) Chatted with him a bit more, and scooted off.

Neat little encounter!

While I was pumping gas the other night had an older gentlemen come up and ask what I had done to my car, he said he heard me coming down the street and pull into the station and was complementing on the exhaust rumble said he didn't expect to see my car pull in after he heard it. Doesn't happen very often but its cool when it does I love talking about cars with anyone haha.

Recent encounter:

Gas Station Attendant: "Fill it - 93, right?"
Me: "Yea, please"
GSA: "So this is a BRZ right? Car looks exactly like the Scion FR-S ... the only difference is what, all wheel drive, right?"
Me: "Eh, no - they are nearly identical save a couple of small things like the front bumper and small suspension tweaks."
GSA: "No shit? Looks great man."

Always, always, always the AWD question.
