I dont think you know what psi means. Explain your reasoning please because I dont follow

by its very nature you cant see contact patch. Patch shape will change but the size wont

I would but then again I know why I'm talking about.

A tire is basically an air spring, therefore as long as the spring rate is the same ( which may or may not be at different PSIs) then the size of the contact patch will be the same.

Wider tires do not have larger contact patches given the same air pressure is used. Change in tire width only changes the shape of the contact patch, as long as the air pressure in the tire stays the same.

Please explain what real life experience we can use to evaluate contact patch area.

There have been glass floor measurements done that prove it.

I think he is just calling out this guy on his personal experience. Not the possibility to objectively measure contact patch size

Well I would love to be able to objectively measure my own contact patch myself, too.

Jack the corner/tire, chalk the rubber, lower the tire down onto dark paper/cardboard, voila there's the contact patch.

Way ahead of you. Heard of a 'polar compensating planimeter'? Now just trying to figure out a fast and convenient method to adjust camber and move large amounts of weight around...

That will never work. You have to build a garage with a basement, then get some engineered glass to drive the car over so that you can look up and measure from the bottom. I mean really, why do stuff the cheap way when you can spend loads of money to get the same results?
