Many thanks,
Sure no problem.

I am on the stock primacy wheel tire setup while waiting to install new rubber on other wheels.

@RToyo86

That, my friend, was perfect. Thanks a million.

PS: I rather like the look of those wheels.

The stock 2017 wheels clean up pretty well.
I find it helps with back wheel nuts and calipers.

I'm running this combo on my 2019 BRZ PP and I freakin love it.
Body control is far superior to the stock springs and Sachs dampers. The ride is a bit firmer (passengers will notice), but not harsh or crashy.

I expected it to be comfortable but never mind, thanks for your answer, you should be the only one that runs this setup, and me in the future!
By the way how much miles the standard tS Sachs withstand, I already have 50.000kms and they work fine

B6 for me were slightly, but less comfortable then stock (MY2013 GT86) suspension. At least for smaller road imperfections/rougher roads. Due a bit more firmness car, as some may say, is "more composed", and on track when pushed a bit better, but i wouldn't consider them if comfort for DD is the goal.

Interesting, I've found B8s (same as B6 with less droop travel) to be way WAY more comfortable on the road vs. '17 PP/Sachs. Way less harsh over bumps and way more front bump travel, while having *slightly* more low-speed damping. If anything I'd prefer more low-speed damping to go with 5.3/4.4 kg/mm Swift Spec-R springs on my car, feels slightly underdamped to me.

In general I've found the Bilsteins to be a good bit more comfortable on bigger bumps and potholes. They have just slightly more compression damping, and a little less high speed rebound (depending on which year OEM we're talking about). More digressive. Plenty more rear rebound which does impact ride quality slightly but sure is helpful with aftermarket springs. Adjustable would be nice to tune that a little bit but overall they have a feel that is more reassuring (to put it one way) on the terrible roads I drive on.

Just wish they weren't always backordered.

Is there a better combination (B6 w/OEM springs, B6 w/any particular aftermarket spring, etc) that rides better than the base (non-PP) OEM setup?

I track the car a couple of times a year, but since that is just for fun, keeping the wife happy and willing to ride in the car is more important than track use. Admittedly though it is not just her as I'm getting into the old fart age range and have to admit I care about a more compliant ride than I used to!

I don’t think you’ll find anything that rides better than the 2017-2020 base suspension. Everything else has more damping and/or higher spring rates.

If you want to drive a bunch of different setups come over on Wednesday. I'm sure everyone would be happy to let you test their cars. But if comfort is your top priority to stick with OEM.

Adjustable shocks paired with springs?

The likes of KYB Extage or Cusco Touring A?

You can use lowering springs with the Cuscos ....with the KYBs I dont know yet.

But they are both adjustable for rebound.

And you still use your oem topmounts to minimize NVH.
