I was asking was inside the car or under the hood but that'll work.

So only time it makes that noise is when you're in low rpm and just blipping, correct? No other time makes that noise.

When was the last time you were fully sober? Based on your previous post, it sounds like you are partaking as soon as you leave work, or shortly after (nevermind driving to and from work intoxicated).

I don't want to get preachy--because frankly, if you don't want to hear it, you won't take me seriously anyway--but I will say a couple things. If you aren't trolling, you may very well be a functioning alcoholic, which despite its name is not a good thing. And no matter how well you think you are hiding it, people know.

/preaching

p.s.--You mentioned earlier that you drink just enough to get through the day. Given that the average work day is 8-9 hours, you must be flying pretty high when you roll into work in the morning.

i'm trolling hard but if you want to know i was fully sober for the past month.....i'm not going to endanger others and drive drunk because that is big time stupid move

i drive to work sober..drink (i'll admit it's enough to be sky high but not to the point i can't function) ..go to work ...it wears off by evening time and then i drive home sober and never touch the bottle again until i have to go back to work the next day...

i usually let several weeks pass before i drink again once the bottle is done..definitely not an alcoholic here

well, at least theres that. The fact that you have to be drunk to work--maybe you just need to find another job (I'm sure you've heard that before).

When blipping the throttle for a little rev (moving or siting still) do you ever get a little click or knock on the first rev? It happens to me infrequently, and when it happens, I can't reproduce it immediately. i get it a lot when Im shifting up or down, and I blip the throttle in between gears, usually after the engine speed has dropped near idle. usually, Im being hesitant about exactly what it is that Im doing, or I just want to hear my exhaust as Im approaching a red light.

these things are a little more difficult to find good information on, seeing as people's written version of onomatopoeias tends to differ quite a bit.
I get distinct tip-in knock only when I stab the accelerator during full engine braking. (fuel cut mode) Since I first noticed it, I've been careful to avoid it. Very bad mojo.

I will try. It's very infrequent, though. But when it happens, I do not like it.
