That's great! I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the difference it makes. Let us know what you think about it after it's installed. If you have a OFT, I have tunes for E85, 93 octane and 91 octane. All with "quiet start". You can use it without a tune but you will get a CEL.
As far as the header goes, if it's UEL, you really won't get much gain but it does sound good.

I really appreciate this input. The Borla header has not shipped yet and If it's not going to add much, I can cancel it. I don't want any more noise anyway. I'm running E85 and understood that the Borla might add another

20 RWHP. If that's not the case, I can still cancel it. The ESC ought to give me more than I need I have an OFT and assumed they can give me tunes for both E85 and 93.

Header will give you more power for sure
I used to run ESC with full bolts with tune

That's also good to know. I guess I'll keep the Borla header, which is like the OEMs slight UEL. I don't totally trust the integrity of that motor, so don't want to overstress it. It's a 2014 Monogram model, built in January 2014, so don't know if there were any changes from 2013. I set a personal redline of 6500 and change oil at 5,000. Oil analysis so far has been excellent. 51,000 miles.

Is there any reason you stopped using the ESC? How was reliability?

That's too bad. Someone had one advertised for a time but the controller was bad and no one knew how to fix it. I see he did sell it though. I better be careful with mine.

I chose an HKS V3 supercharger that came in a full kit with a flash tablet with a 92 tune and a E85 tune. I have the 92 tune. No more torque dip and still delivers nice linear power. Adds a lot of fun to the car. It's been flawless too, no ECLs I read of needing to be worked through on some FI builds.

I chose a supercharger over a turbo due to under hood heat concerns, and I didn't have to put in new exhaust plumbing either. A colleague did a turbo on his and he had to put in hood vents to let the heat escape.

I didn't want to do that, mines just a commuter. He was a pretty dedicated auto-crosser type, he had about as much in his coil system as he did in his turbo build for reference.

I'm happy with the included tune that made installation one and done in a general shop. I know I have room grow via the header, midpipe and more tune. I'll need an Ecutek platform to properly do that as well. About another $2500 bucks worth of parts, but the work part of that is bolt on easy and flashing tunes. I'll likely do it eventually, but right now I'm pivoting resources into other projects, like the house.

I have to manage and monitor the traction fluid, that's about it. Hope this helps.

Gotta say this car is much more fun and reliable in NA+e85+ bolt-ons.

I disagree.
I can turn off the ESC at any time and be NA+e85+bolt-ons.
And it's much more fun with the ESC ON.
And just as reliable.

Problem is no longer available and used ones are not worth it die to no spare parts. I agree the ECS is a perfect companion but boost is boost and on these cars tuning is key with boost
