To do an apples to apples comparison you would have to go back to 2019 when there was a base Premium. They were stickered at $25,795 so yes you can get "a" BRZ cheaper than a 2020 but it is not the same level so comparing price is a waste of time. Comparing model against model there has been a increase across the board but it isn't anything massive nor unexpected. In fact it is quite reasonable for the changes that were made.

Looks like there is no oil temp or pressure display. From the Subaru presser:
Quote:
Flanking the tachometer on the left, a programmable meter can display amps, coolant temperature or Lateral-G. When Track Mode is selected, the tachometer switches from a traditional circular form to a linear graph with color display.

True. It looks like the last MY with the Premium trim in the US was 2018?
If we had the Premium trim in the US for 2020 MY, I'm sure it would be slightly cheaper than $27995.

I personally prefer apples-to-apples comparison, rather than "what was the cheapest before and what is the cheapest now".
2020 Limited vs 2022 Limited there's a clear increase.
Otherwise, one could argue that a more cost-effective option to get
a BRZ back in 2020 was to buy used :P

Subaru’s adaptive cruise control relies on eyesight. Eyesight is not compatible with a manual transmission. Even if it’s for stupid reasons, it’s not compatible.

I think it has the exact same available display options as the 17+ models with the 4 in screen on the dash, just a few things got relocated.

Well yes that's true, but standard equipment also seems much better for the new 86. So, for me I say the comparison would lie somewhere between the old base and old limited. Regardless, the pricepoint is very reasonable to me.

Not sure if it's been posted, here's the spec sheet from subaru (see attached files, bottom right): https://media.subaru.com/pressreleas...l-new-2022-brz

Not much info, but we're back to a 4.1 diff and CoG height is stated at 17.95 in. Old 2013 spec sheet for comparison here: https://www.subaru.ca/content/7907/M...%2012%20EN.pdf
