Track/Instructor time in CT
Hopefully next year is a better one regarding car events and what not, considering the ridiculous amount of people that I saw on Broke. East event. I want to know if there are any, per say, driving schools for track days. Or independent instructors for that matter. Not supposed to track the daily, but I'm definitely not putting the car on a track without an instructor.

All the local track day clubs separate drivers into groups, with the newbies getting assigned an instructor, which this year meant doing a 'lead-follow' vs having them in-car due to the pandemic. If you reach out to any of them (CART, MassTuning, etc.) they can probably help you find a local instructor if you wanted to get some work in aside of track days, you can also do some lower speed/lower risk/lower cost driving at Autocross days. Did my first couple track days this year in my daily (BRZ) which I'd planned to have a few autocross days in ahead of but they got cancelled for a variety of reasons.

I will repeat here what I said in my private message.
I am driving instructor with NASA and have been doing track events since 2013. I highly recommend starting with an organization that has been around for a while. It seems everyone is starting their own organization lately and it has lead to some poorly managed events. SCDA, SCCA, NASA, CHIN, hooked on Driving are some good examples. Once you learn the ropes, feel free to venture out of the listed organizations. Another bit of advice. Don't go crazy with modification and track day stuff. Buy a helmet, check the brake system and get out there. Your only regret will be not starting sooner.

Just buy a $79 Southwest ticket to Vegas. You can go to Speedvegas and rent anything you want, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.. for like $59/lap with the instructor in the car. It's a great time and the instructors don't hold you back if anything they push you to drive harder than you thought possible.
