My take is the oil cooler really comes into its own if you plan to push hard for more than 3-5 laps in a row. If you're happy enough to either pit in or do a cool down between push laps you shouldn't have much issue keeping temps in a safe window on a NA car. Can't speak to anything beyond stock power levels

I been tracking without an oil cooler for 2 years now and never seen issue with my UOA temps hit 240-255. I noticed at Oulton oil temp was sorta self regulating due to the longer straights.

270 does seem high but your UOA seems good. So unless you start seeing some sort of thermal runaway you're probably fine without one.

Oh all this is assuming you monitor oil pressure and those are also in a safe window at these temps. Which has been the case for me running 5w-30
