Just remember to vary the speed/RPM during the break-in, it isn’t advisable to keep it at the same RPM for extended periods of time during break-in.

That will be an awesome experience to see the difference immediately after driving the auto! That kind of reminds me of when I bought my series.blue. Flew to Salt Lake City from Portland Saturday morning at 6. Bought it, and was out of there after lunch around 2pm. Drove 800 miles home including sleeping in it for about an hour around 3am for a little break from driving and back in my driveway at around 630ish... broke in haha. Probably not the most ideal way I'd like to break it in but never had any issues after.

^^and what NCtoBRZ said. Don't use cruise control and vary the RPM's. Hard to do on a long drive but if you just remind yourself, you can do it.

How many people on this thread so far have said they'll replace the STI pink springs with.. I don't know.. RCE Yellows?

Bad example but explains it well enough, I think.
lol Ok, well I guess we'll see how many tS stay stock.

Did it come with that tS information packet in the glovebox you were talking about earlier?

It did, but I was a little disappointed because it was just a one page pamphlet with the first promo pictures that were released when it was revealed in June. It looks good inside my binder with other promo material though

On a completely different note, I was surprised to see that the trim next to the window is also Alcantara. I touch that part when I open the door, and I rest my elbow on it sometimes too. The regular BRZ's, including my Series.HyperBlue usually have a vinyl or faux leather. It's a nice touch, and I don't remember any material mentioning that.

Picked up her today, switched to SA10R 18x8.5+45 winter tires before driving out the lot. Glad that it clears the Brembo.

Well considering that he still had all the tags, covers and stickers on the Series Blue after almost a year maybe he will leave the shipping cover on the spoiler.

@Veloist, How is the 2018 headunit?
Does the navigation come pre-loaded or does it need to be activated somehow?
How's the Android auto/Apple Carplay?

I was just about to mention this!

Navigation is good to go after the PDI. It's the same TomTom layout as the 17-18 Impreza and 18 Legacy, Outback, and Crosstrek. I used it on my way home and it is kind of small, but way better than using a phone.

I'm an Apple guy so I use Apple CarPlay. When I first played with it during the 17' Impreza Launch I was excited about it. That's worn off but I'm still very glad it comes with it. I'll probably use it for Music, as it's easier to switch between playlists and what not. Other than that, most people will probably use it for making phone calls and reading text messages. It'll be fun to sit in the car and figure it out for the first time, whether it's Apple or Android!

Audio does sound better compared to my HyperBlue. I'm not sure if they added 2 additional speakers though, but I can tell it sounds better even at the Flat EQ settings.

I haven't had time to sit and look at all the settings, but there are a lot, and it is quite the departure from the headunit in my HyperBlue!

My saleslady just told me they finished adding the lipkit. Now it sits on the lot until I can get it

WRB... that's the color I'd get. The red accents on it are nice. You'll be stoked on that car.... keep it clean, you'll always get compliments.
