Well this sucks. I also bought the Subaru one-piece dash trim piece. Waited 2 months for it. Take it out to install my 2016 and no-go due to the one-piece having a rectangular cutout for the radio and mine is a trapezoidal type of shape. Is there a solution? otherwise I'll be selling the one-piece part. Too bad as it looks really nice.

Yep, didn't see that coming. I guess I'll put it on the for sale section tonight.

Has anyone done a 2017 86 dash trim swap with the 2013~2015 FRS with the OEM SCION head unit? If so, is it a direct fit?

Holy eff. Of course it won't fit the trapezoidal radio. Even in the first post and first few pages there is continuous talk of the older style radio.

There have been multiple scions swap in this thread btw.

Thanks Summerwolf. I guess that leaves me only with the '17 Brz trim option.

fyi speedfactory is selling this for ~200 bucks including tax while when I went to my local toyota dealer they stated it would cost 265 + tax so save a few bucks and go to a third party vendor as opposed to a dealer.

This looks awesome! No modification was needed to install right? Just pop the old two pieces off and snap on the '17 piece?
