Hey I was in nyc too last night. But didn't see the parade, went to this place called Joshua Tree house? I think it's called. It was pretty interesting they have tvs and play music videos from the 80's and 90s.. . Alot of which I didn't know (they played some random stuff)
Anyway People were going nuts lol.
They also played that #Thicke video..... O_o
Well that was certainly a change in music videos to say the least...

I'm a sucker for clubs, restaurants, or whatever that plays 90's music.

Best one so far was this new Japanese restaurant that played song after song of 90's music while I was waiting for my order of this giant lobster sushi plate.

I had sushi over the weekend. Nashville has some surprisingly good Japanese restaurants.

Stayed in Nashville once and gotta say I loved the atmosphere there. I didn't go looking for sushi while I was visiting though. I was definitely checking out the southern styled food they serve down there with everyone's best friend.. Mr. Daniels. Oh and I was never really much of a fan of country music, still not, but after checking out some of the live country music scene I can say its better seeing it live than radio. Good stuff over there. :happy0180:

haha one time at 1am I was in the city by myself leaving a show and right when I got off the subway there was this dude wearing a red kilt and playing the bagpipes at 1AM! it wasn't even a weekend...wtf? hahaha only in nyc...That was quickly followed by me running as fast as possible to penn b.c if I missed the train the next one would be in 3 hours....So many people were staring at me haha, my thoughts "fuck it, its new york they've seen weirder shit"
Missed the train by 2 mins. Literally 2 mins too late!
But that wasn't even the best part. I sat down in penn, and took my bracelets offs and this bum, Thats right BUM asked if I was selling my bracelets! "What the hell I'm not a bum! You are!" -Wanted to say that but didn't-

Than my other favorite nyc story was when my friend & ex did a zombie crawl!! It was so epic, we walked through stores, banged on the glass of restaurants and than (they got a permit for this) closed down one of the roads by -You guessed it- Running in the street and banging on taxi's!! (Totally got caught up in the moment) looking back I think I should have gotten hit...heh..heh ....whoops.
haha Than imagine a horde of zombies moaning "ice cream" (Yeah I know unrealistic) and all shaking the truck..lmfao this guy who barely spoke English was freaking the fuck out and shouting at everyone
yea....that was a great night..

Glad you enjoyed it. We've got a great vibe, with a diverse community of young and old, professional, students, etc. As I like to say "We're a lot more than just twang-rock and cowboy boots." I bumped into one of the guitarists from Fleetwood Mac over the weekend. We were both enjoying an R&B/soul concert.

Long before it was a music town, it was a printing town. Oh would you look at that, we are a t-shirt printing business. Shameless plug.

This happened to my sister recently. Which is why I don't care to use my cards over the internet. Knowing my sister she likes to shop online a lot just as much or even worse as any other girl. Anyway we spotted unusual purchases, but it wasn't that hard to notice, because my sister just so happened to be visiting the Dominican Republic when her card was being charged in Germany and Belgium... hmmmm. Besides she's still sort of a student so those guys could not spend that much anyway.

Well, they didn't make any charges. When I called Chase to ask (all I got was a text saying my card was compromised and I would receive a new one) they just said they had received a notice that my card may be compromised so to be on the safe side I get a new one. The text seemed legit as it had their customer service number on it. The only thing I'm suspicious about is the two missed calls from a number I confirmed with Chase that's not their number. Googling it tells me it's a scam number.

Anyone see the movie Hara-Kiri Death: of a Samurai? I watched it over the weekend and thought the film was put together very well.

I recommend it, but only if you can watch it alone or with people that can stay silent through certain movie(s) such as this one. The cinematography is on point, setting is point, costumes done very well, and acting was on point as well.

Quick synopsis:
Quote:
An tale of revenge, honor and disgrace, centering on a poverty-stricken samurai who discovers the fate of his ronin son-in-law, setting in motion a tense showdown of vengeance against the house of a feudal lord. - IMDb
