I'm done reading ppl complaining bout lack of power of this car. It's not this car's fault for you not able to drive fast. That means, you don't know how to drive fast!!!

My friends who are going into the industry tend to say that they like the coding part and not the "math"/algorithms part, and I get the impression that their job is pretty much to write working code.

I have a friend who just graduated math, but he's going to do IT and doesn't have any background there, whereas if I tried to get a software job with my horrible coding skills, I would be laughed at.
You just haven't found what you like programming , generally i despise programming , but when I took my mobile development class last summer I was in love it was so much fun developing mini games and what not for my phone ..

and @kanundrum I want to eventually get into the information security stuff , my degree I finish in august is for cyber security, and the job I think I'm about to land is systems analyst (just to get a beginner job) but would eventually like to get into the security stuff once I get some more job security

Interesting hearing everyone's opinion about these degrees. I will most likely end up majoring in computer science now. I was considering Information Systems, because it doesn't require physics, thought it has some involvement in technology/computers, well pay, and I would be able to transfer to SDSU by next year. With Computer Science, I will most likely have to do an additional year at cc to get out. I guess I'm just trying to rush out of cc

lol, I don't think you understand. I've written a good bit of code before. It's not intellectually stimulating for me. Algorithms kind of is, but it's not really my cup of tea, I prefer theoretical math.

It's funny when I see a software interview question, I always go "wait isn't this easy? You just take every single possible permutation, sort like this, and then do this" which leads to my CS friends scolding me saying that would take too much time to run.

I get the not stimulating part which is why I had more fun in my cyber security classes compared to my let's make another library management system in a new language classes -_- but for some reason making apps for android was really really fun for me

Would it really be that difficult to have a car that could read its own alignment.

Using lasers and reflectors on the subframes / hubs; or something.

Suppose the demand for such an option would be 0.1% of car buyers.
