It’s fine. This time it’ll be interesting enough just driving on the other side and trying to figure out where the heck I’m driving lol.

Best job I ever had in terms of pure enjoyment. Not only did I do the in park thing, but I was on a public service announcement with Ms. Maryland, was the mascot a couple of times at the Richmond minor league team's games, and was on Romper Room for a week when they filmed in the park.

After the park closed for the summer, I worked on a construction crew that built a roller coaster (my kids got to ride it 20 years later), and then worked the following summer as the Customer Satisfaction manager for the park. After there were no full time positions at the park, I got into computers and went on my way.

Sounds more fun than my first job out of college. Working 60 hours a week while studying for the CPA exam.

My favorite job was working the grill at a cheesesteak place. Man, I made a million cheesesteaks.

@Dadhawk, I did work at a amusement park briefly. When I was a pledge in the fraternity in college, the pledge class had to raise money for a big formal party at the end of the semester. We got a call from one of the managers at Marriot's Great America, who happened to be an alumni brother, who desperately needed help at the end of the season. They were still open weekends and their workforce had left back to school, so my pledge class (18 of us) worked the food court for like the last 6 or so weekends. We got paid as a group, plus Marriott's threw in a group bonus. Each food booth had a tap of good ol Old Milwaukee beer. I think we all drank more than we served. We made a TON of money (for 1982) and had the most extravagant formal dinner dance. We got a letter from the management at Great America thanking us for bailing them out, but mentioned we needed to work on our "one for you, one for me" method of beer serving. That was also pretty fun. I got the corndog hut.

Makes sense that you want to retire at the Beefcake Factory.

But remember the washrooms are always busy and you have a wait! Beer is a BAD idea.

Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done, but when flying to Hong Kong forever ago, I stayed up most of the night before, got on the plane, and then downed 3 benadryl with two of the little bottles of vodka they had. Fell asleep over Wisconsin and woke up over Russia. Most relaxing flight I had ever been on. Possibly.
