Having it equipped with everything that's available on the Toyota 86 GT Limited (see link in sig for most/all of said items) and for it to have Toyota badges, the 86 name, and an optional TRD supercharger or Turbo.

A 2.5l engine that revs up to 8-8.5k and makes about 240-260hp.

The JP/LED/HID headlight combo and make it Toyota here in the states.

Might need a bit more rubber or even a staggered setup.

Offer a "pure" white color. Or something crazy like Laguna Seca blue.

Drop the interior sound tube and make the exhaust a bit louder.

For me, the list is short:

1. Factory turbocharger (a small, twin-scroll design)
2. Lower ride height (nothing extreme, maybe 1.5 inches lower)
3. 18" wheels with wider/lower profile tires (maybe something like 245/40/18 or so)

That's it! Give me those three things and I'd buy the car in a heartbeat and probably keep it 100% stock because it would be perfect.
Willing to fork over +$32k? Cuz, that's pretty much you gonna be looking at OEM.

Not everyone is so stingy on price. Some of us are willing to pay to play, you know, you get what you pay for. :P

Just like I'll always make my comment that there are some of us willing to pay the price. Two sides of the same coin lol.

I'd say...

GT86 springs
Staggered Pilot Super Sports
Recaro seats
More refined exhaust note
Torque dip removed
Battery relocated to trunk

No rear seats
No factory amp
No noise generator

I think an FR-S out of the box like that would be a car I didn't mod at all.

Well sort of. Push the price up and then you just have another pricey sports car to compete with all the other pricey sports cars already out there. What's special about this one is that it's a no-nonsense, basic, affordable driver's car and there haven't been any others in years.

Absolutely. That would still be less expensive than doing the wheels/tires/suspension/turbo after the fact. Plus, everything would be OEM, so there shouldn't be any issues and everything should work together perfectly.

You're right, I've prob guestimate em too low. Spec like that is prob hitting north of $40k. Who knows, specially those spec will screw w Lexus sales... so maybe price tag lil under IS-F.

...right, I guess, you missed the hiccup of drop rpm & cricket noise.

I'm not anti against w your idea... as long as you can fork over those price tag. :happy0180: So when 86 GRMN release w ridiculous price tag, I'll be expect you to commenting "Yes! Why they're not selling it over here."
