But mostly, given the amount titanium reinforcement that I carry around, there aren’t many people on whom I’d wish the same. He’s not one of them. Spencer, Polen, and Kevin Schwartz all came through the Central Roadracing Club in Texas during a time when I was a field filler in their races. A good friend was one of the perennial 750 and open class winners. I met them through that connection.

After watching some of the test sessions in the past few days I find the Rake of these 2023 cars a lot less aggressive than last year.
RB especially had the rear end so jacked up last year it was almost a caricature. All looks very level and even goes negative in the rear at speed when down force does its thing. About the AM driver MIA even the commentators don’t seem to know how bad Stroll’s fall was, commenting that its maybe broken wrists or clavicle, (I don’t think so). Why the privacy, it will come out eventually? Even thought Felipe Drugovich looks to have done ok new rumours of Vettel’s for replacement driver for the first race have started.. |

The green RB looks to be performing pretty well for Alonso.

Well, it looks like this season will be a snooze fest with Red Bull domination, but hopefully Aston Martin will make the fight for the podium interesting every race.

Excuse me while I be a bit irrelevant…
Wonder how long the complicity between Alonso & Stroll will last, Will ALO have to step on his bad toe every race or so as a formality so STR can race the next one competently while crying in pain ? They will have to furnish bigger podium Bottles for Fernando he seems to really like that stuff as most of it was not wasted on the floor.. Both Williams in midfield was nice! Was it because of that Duracell battery on top of the air intake? Ricardo must have been giggling inside after his old team’s fiasco on this opener… RB kind of forgot they were in the same race, beside the view of the start, pits, & last lap I even forgot they were even competing. This will be a long season for the rest of the non RB fan club members. They were never really challenged so we never really saw the real MAXimum pace. Merc team seem to be demoralised so much I had a hard time detecting any complaints happening from HAM. Ferrari was, well Ferrari: nothing changed much since last season, Great drivers but they need some dependable support from both the team & the car to actually step up to that podium. Ocon: Everybody has a real bad day at the office where the boss yells at you, your customers yell at you your equipment fails you, you keep doing basic mistakes. He did equal a record set by Pastor Maldonado in 2015 and that comparison does not go down good at all. |

Was hoping to see Haas running a bit higher after qualifying. Looks like race pace is still slow.

Painfully true for McLaren, so much that it hurts. I wish to see Lando fighting for podium finishes just like he was prior to the new rules.

That Duracell livery has got to be the coolest thing I've ever seen lol. Every time the camera focused on the Williams I just chuckled.
