Talking Stoptech ST-40 conversion/rebuild?

Hey, searching around and haven't seen anything quite on this topic...

I have the S2000 Stoptech ST-40 kit with the 328x28 rotors, but my S2000 has long been sold. Lazy me after more than 5 years has failed to move the brake kit out of my garage. Given the price of another Stoptech kit for the BRZ, has anyone ever rebuilt the ST-40 calipers with different pistons to match what comes in the BRZ kit? Can you just swap pistons like that? What are the piston sizes anyway? I know I'd still have to somehow find the BRZ kit's brackets and the correct top hat for the rotor rings, but I imagine that would have to be quite a bit cheaper than buying a new kit.

I wrote Stoptech but no response in over a week.

Ok, so I found info that finally confirms that the bores are machined into the caliper bodies, so that's why "it doesn't work like that." Appreciate the help. I guess they won't work properly unless the piston sizes magically match the S2000.
