Yep, brings to mind the years when I was a real estate broker and contracted with FHLMC (Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation) to evict people, take control of their (actually the banks) property, prepare it for sale and sell it.

Talk about running into some messes -

On a hot day in August, I recall this one property that I repossessed. After scouting it out (looking in all the windows) I walked up to the front door and I could smell the stench through the door. I told my partner to go wait in the car and I would break in, take pictures and tell her all about it.

Oh, no, she had to follow me in (she rarely did what I told her to do - ). About 3 steps inside, she gasped for breath, ran for the door and threw up off the porch. As a departing gift to the bank, the former owners had scattered dead fish around the inside of the house -

In another house, I told my partner NEVER open a refrigerator or freezer door in a house where the power had been cut off for several weeks. Yep, you guessed it, she just HAD to see what was inside - . Nothing quite like the smell of well aged (read rotting) meat.

DAMN, one story just brings to mind another one - but, I'll spare you anymore ......

My familiar had a similar situation to this about a decade ago.

We (well, aunt/uncle part of the family) decided due to health concerns, my grandparents couldn't live in their old home anymore and had to be put in a care facility.

So we did that, moved 'em out right quick. But a lot of their stuff was still in the home and it had to be made ready for sale as well.

So of course since the other part of the family did the "moving" they put the responsibility on my side to do the clearing of most of the old stuff.

Yep, this included going through the fridge AND the garage chest freezer.

Well, the power had been shut off by then if I'm remembering correctly, and basically everything in that garage freezer had thawed by the time we got there (probably at least a week or two, maybe longer).

It was so bad there were maggots on the floor.

Anyway I'll leave out the rest of the gory details.

Yeah, it is pretty amazing how skillful the operator is. It is very smooth, not jerky at all.

I’ve never flown any kind of drone before. Is that unusual? That smoothness?
