There are competitions? What's the diorama of?
Huge competitions on an international basis. http://ipmsusa2015.com/contest-winners-list/

I usually do Vietnam era stuff since that is the equipment and vehicles I know. Also stick to mostly downtime/maintenance situations since (as you know) that is about 99.99999% of military reality.

I will be entering 4 older ones I did over the last few years and the one I am working on which is a Korean war medevac

Will look like this:

Building a revetment with tractor and bomb loaders and cart for my F-4 and the other two are sort of self explanatory.

I can just see the guy in the last model yelling "Mother fucker, I told you to stop taking the firing pin out of my rifle! That shit is not funny!"

Also, on your Korean War medevac, please have it be the 4077 M.A.S.H.

I call that one "You missed a spot"

NO it is an Army Evac scene not a corny 70s show scene. I love the show but if I do a 4077 one I will hunt down the right figures)

And because Toyota > Subaru. And I owned the Subaru version. Only because the FR-S sucked by comparison.

There, did I make everyone angry now?

Say you bought a mustang and/or a GTR and yes you should have pissed off everyone

I been meaning to start models again... any tips, what should I start back up with?

also do you lock your cat's out of the room when you do that? I only assume that hair and kitty would be a nuisance

I guess its a good thing I jumped to the end of the thread after reading the pointless OP. Only reason I jumped to the end is I was curious on why the fuck the thread was still going on with the OP. But I should of known just like 90% of threads on every forum because #offtopic

Start simple and like any hobby/job spend the money for the proper tools. I keep meaning to start a thread on the topic since it seems car guys still enjoy this sort of thing.

Nope the guys help me with almost every aspect and it is rare if I do not have one or both within 3 feet of me every waking moment of the day. I have just become adept at working around them on my lap and picking 3 inch long hairs out of everything. I must confess that the white one sported a big splotch of airbrushed olive drab for about 2 weeks once though.
