How many people have done the opposite swap? It is 100% plug and play. Although, going from the old lights to the new ones requires a different flasher relay, but your current one will be fine for the old lights.

Yep. Plugs right in but needs the relay and gasket. Think about everyone that swaps to aftermarket tails that are full LED on the Zenki without issue as well so it's not like this is a unique situation. |

The worst that happens is it flashes funny (maybe super slow?). Shouldn't do any damage. And if you put in LEDs instead of regular bulbs it will work perfectly with your stock relay anyway. |

to be honest 2012-2016 stock tail is very very well designed.... ppl just don't like them cuz the car came with it.
