JRSC C38 with an RS Pulley
I can't seem to find any information on people running the RS racing pulley for the JRSC C38 blower? I would assume at this power level people go turbo, but it's definitely interesting. Obviously you'd need forged everything, but what kind of power gains would you expect to see over the high boost pulley?

I would love to see this also. I don't think you'll ever see a C38 with 400whp on anything but a dynapack dyno. Someone please prove me wrong...

We currently had a customer put down over 400hp at the wheel on a AT with a Built motor and the RS kit. We don't know the full extent to his build. One of our Time Attack sponsored cars put down over 500hp.
Depending on your build you will likely see a number around 450hp. Our shop car with the High Boost Pulley put down nearly 400hp. Jackson Racing Staff -Chris |

How much boost does the RS pulley put out? What fuel is necessary to support that boost level?

Has anyone looked into the C38-91/92 blower? According to the data sheet from Rotrex, the 91/92 model has an even higher output. Is it just not feasible to use one of these with the stock rev limit? Or not able to de-tune enough for reliability on stock internals? |

What boost levels are okay to run on CA 91 octane? Would lowering the compression ratio increase the amount of boost possible on CA 91? But does lower compression ratio and higher boost create the same hp/tq of higher compression and lower boost?

The real question is What is the goal for the build? And would it be beneficial to upgrade? You mentioned stock internals. If that is one of the goals, the C38-81 is MORE than enough. Jackson Racing Staff -Chris |

Chis, I know most of your customers are more into track performance than dyno numbers but that being said can you please post a dyno? Preferably one that isn't from a hub type dynapack. The highest numbers I've seen are 370 whp on Church's dyno with E85 and the HBP.

Hey! That’s my car you saw! Lol, I took it a while back when I installed the HBP. It was stock internals and I was only E65(there’ was still 91 in my tank) generally I get E82 when I fill up around my area. I have DTFlexfuel so it tells me my ethonal content.

@Nightflo
Pretty sure he means this. That was my dyno. I'm on my 6th setup right now and was thinking of trying the C38 with the RS pulley. I don't know any public builds that have gone this route yet.
