Could you download the LOG file (not datalog) and send it to me (shiv@vishnutuning.com)? It will help us debug what is going on with datalog file exporting.

It only takes ~5 min to switch maps though.
We are currently exploring the possibility of integrated our Procede computer with the OFT much like we do with BMW N54. This gives could potentially give us the same added functionality (real-time mapswitching, flex fuel, closed loop boost control, overboost protection, PWM methanol control, etc,.) As far as flexfuel goes, it reads the raw freq signal from the GM Flexfuel sensor ($75) so no additional control boxes would be required.

Our own shop car will likely be getting a turbo soon and such options will be evaluated

@shiv, I ordered my OFT and downloaded the available software (hope that's okay). While uncompressing the zip folders, the one for the Viewer came back with an encryption requirement. Patiently waiting for my OFT.

Also, I didn't notice any particular system requirements for the Windows version. I'm assuming that the programs will run on XP as my netbook will retired to being solely used for the car .

For datalogging, are we supposed to connect the OFT before we start the engine?

I can go to datalog screen when engine is off but if the engine is running before I connect OFT then it has error.

Thx

It really shouldn't matter if engine is running or not. Just as long as the Igniton power is ON. We did release an update earlier this morning which auto configures channels in case the user forgets to do so which used to result in a comms errors. Maybe try letting your OFT auto update via wifi and see if that sorts out what you are seeing.

@shiv@vishnu I will begin my installation of the Vortech kit at 9am EST that I purchased from @nelsmar. Is it possible that we could talk about modifying your oft300 map to work with the MAP sensor I am using. I believe Nelsmar posted more information about the MAP a few posts back. I'm also assuming I am one of your first customers running this tune?

Why don't you get the right MA"P" sensor?

Ok, I understand that I'm not using the hardware that you have recommended but right now I have a car that is not drivable. I don't see why you can't change the MAP scaling pressure to 0.0300 and the map voltage to 0.617 for me.

Why did you not wait until you have everything you need?
