Disassembled the old wicker patio/California room furniture since the wicker parts were cracking and coming off. No before pics. Assembled the new, better looking furniture (pictured). I can actually use these comfortably. Lol.

I guess I'm learning how to install head flashing over my new basement door today. Contractor tried just caulking it, and that all pulled off so now water comes in from above the door. You would think someone who does this for a living would know better.
Should I be worried about mold/rot underneath inside the drywall after like 3 storms?

I opted, for now, to use a water filtration system for the whole house. Basically set up two filters right after our well water pump that would feed directly to the water heater, the external water connection for the yard was also benefited from the filters.
I gotta say, PEX is incredibly easy to work with, had to spend some money on the crimping tool but I feel it would help on future projects, like the water softener. Scaling must had been pretty bad because as soon as I lined up the isolation valves and restored water flow, the first filter almost instantaneously turned a light shade of red, and the second one turned black, so I'll need to replace the filters soon. |

Uhhh, if you are referring to the exterior, I don't think I do actually. I did call the contractor last week and I got a call back about 20 minutes after my post lol. It is mostly fixed now, I just need to paint over stuff.
I have sections of concrete(?) for basement walls, there is a rectangular hole in the concrete, with a wood frame inside the hole. The door frame mounts to the wood. The caulk they initially installed the door with peeled up the old weathered paint on the wood and, being on the windward side of the house, rainwater just poured in. They cut out the old caulk, applied some adhesive sealing stuff in the crack, then re-caulked. It worked with some pretty intense rain and wind this afternoon at least. I'll get some paint on it this weekend and it should be good I think.

Back during covid, I had some extra time, so I re-did the faux wicker on our porch chairs with craftcord. Almost sweat shop quality, if I do say so myself.

Yeah, no idea on my end how they seal that.
