I have access to about 3,000 gallons of grey and 500 of black if you want to swing by! Mind you, technically speaking, it is a coating not "paint" but it will last on the rotor for it's full life.

The grey is a zinc coating with a polymer bonding agent. It is the grey you see on most new vehicles. https://magnicoatings.com/wp-content...Data-Sheet.pdf
The black is a very, very, very, strong water based coating similar to the truck bed liner stuff. It is only used by one company now since the zinc has pretty much replaced it.

Interesting. I mean, I know at the hub there's a huge heat sink so it gets easier. I've never bothered with brakes though.

Recently, one of my buddy bought S2k. He used to won one, but sold it and now he want it again, so bought same color S2k. Now giving him some advice on aftermarket parts. Today, he asked about sway bars. If he buy one or not. I told him to wait til other suspension parts are dialed and if he still feel that need one, get one. He went on to say how AP2 has softer sway in the rear, so he should get one for his (AP1).
I just gave up and didn't say much afterward. It doesn't matter what I say, he still gonna buy it. I'm like why bother asking me lol But can't say much, cuz I'm guilty at that too. I'm 99.9% gonna buy it, but still ask my wife if I should buy it or not. |

Friendly reminder to never click on a trending political topic on Twitter. Ever. For the love of all that either is or isn't holy depending upon preference, just don't do it.

Yes, this forum is a type of social media. Yes, I participate here to some degree off and on, as well as one or two other forums, although less and less in those other two lately. I find that the people I see every day in real life (and yes, in person interactions ARE more "real" and more healthy), whether they are complete strangers, casual or nodding acquaintances, or close friends and family, are MUCH less polarized, didactic, and unappeallingly one-sided/one-dimensional/single-or-close-minded/insulting than the way people present themselves and their opinions online, via "social" media. This is one of THE great ills of our society; via the instancy/virility of online communications, the most polarized or outrageous acts, opinions, and thoughts are the ones that promulgate the fasted and the farthers, and dominate discussions, thereby making it seem as if they are typical examples of the way the majority of people feel, think, and act. They simply are not. When I want to keep in touch with my family and friends, which is often, I call them. When I don't have time to call, I write a quick email and, if really necessary, I text although i don't like that much either. I had a Facebook account for a few months years ago, and closed it when I got sick of seeing a lot of people I respected treat each other terribly online. Never looked back. Never used Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, or whatever else is out there. The good they do, in my opinion, is FAR outweighed by the harm they do. Especially in terms of Twitter and Facebook, it isn't enough to say, "It's all in how you use it," because the owners and moderators of those mediums are inarguably guiding what THEY wish the conversation to be nationally and globally, regardless of room for debate. At this point, it is no longer simply left to those using the platforms; the platforms themselves are guiding entities.
