Need help finding new exhaust due to noise complaints

Hi guys,

Well, this happened. I received a fine from my condo association because my exhaust is too loud.

Anyway, can anyone recommend the cheapest way is putting a cheap exhaust on that's quiet and won't "cause complaints"?

2013 FRS

Thanks

Check local classifieds, plenty of owners pretty much giving their stock exhausts away

Buy a new one. Or have a muffler shop modify yours

Many people will ditch their stock exhaust for damn near nothing.

How can I tell if I need to buy the intermediate pipe and what not or if I can just buy the FRS stock muffler?

I was thinking of just going into a shop with that

You need to share your current exhaust setup for the best advice. Easy route would be removing your catback with an OEM catback. Like others have said, check your local FB group they’re easy to find and cheap.

Invidia Q300/ R400 are much quieter choices. I don't know what your FP setup is like, but I would recommend at least a resonated FP.

I have been trying to give my stock 14 exhaust away for 6 years!

I am looking for a TRD exhaust but the shipping costs would be insane! Can you pack it in some luggage and bring it to me? I will buy you a sandwich.

Is it loud according to the state? What are your condos rules? If it isn't a straight piped pos sounding twin you could likely fight it.
