Hello everyone,

I am looking into getting PBM pro coilovers. I had a question about owners of these coilovers.

Does anyone know if coilover manufacturers usually send endlinks with coilovers?

Or do they expect us to use our stock coilovers?

Anyone with PBMs know if they sent you new endlinks with your coils?

They don't come with aftermarket endlinks. When I ran them, I also bought white line adjustable front endlinks to prevent the swaybar from binding.

Do you know if you were able to use the stock front endlinks if you didn't have the whiteline endlinks?

What did you do about your rear endlinks?

My rear endlinks are stock as of now, but will upgrade to whiteline soon. As for the front endlinks, I'm sure you can run the stock ones and be fine.

I have been using factory end links with my PBM coilovers for quite some time now with no problem.

We will be changing out my coilovers very soon. Are there any other parts that should be changed out as well?

So far I'm going to be using stock end links and stock lower control arms.

Will using the stock lower control arms with aftermarket coilovers be fine?

Also, when installing the stock endlinks back, how do you ensure it is tightened at the ride height that you are at?

Any reason you are going with PBM coilovers? Is it because they are gold and shiny or you find some functionality from them?....


I only ask because they are linear spring coilovers and will be very harsh in ride unless you opt for softer or progressive springs...

Probably because the price is right on them and they go low.

While I don't personally own PBM coilovers and they are on my "looking" list for coilovers here is what I do know..

They are quite popular in the S Chassis and many other communities especially with those who drift. From what I have read from looking over various forums and threads is that they hold up very well, replacement strut inserts are cheap and the Pro series coilovers are actually quite streetable compared to the Competitions which are very stiff.

The competition series apparently also goes quite low.

Are they comparable to 2500 KW V3's? No probably not, however they seem to be quite good for the price category they are in and certainly better than the Godspeed/Megan/DC coilovers people are putting in their cars.

They also sell direct to consumer unlike many companies which require you to go through an authorized distributor which also helps keep the cost a little low.

They used to offer swift springs however it appears they opted to do their own spring over the past few years helping bring the cost down a little more.

They may not be a name like TEIN but if you google them you will find people who are very happy with them, mostly the drift community and that they take abuse very well.
